Alison Tisdale is a Venture Partner at Raven focusing on company creation and next generation protein therapeutics. Before joining Raven, Alison was Chief Scientific Officer at Sera Medicines, a biologics accelerator advancing antibody therapeutics across a range of therapeutic areas, and Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Starfish Medicines, a Sera subsidiary focused on cardiometabolic disease. Prior to that Alison spent time at Raven as an Entrepreneur in Residence after nearly a decade in operational roles of increasing responsibility at biotech start-ups in the greater Boston area, including Immunitas Therapeutics, Generate Biomedicines, and Eleven Biotherapeutics. She holds a PhD in Biological Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering.
