Ami Thakrar is an Associate with the TechAtlas division at RA Capital Management. She works on the Healthcare, Technology, and Services (HTS) Team collaborating with RA Capital’s Investment Team, evaluating companies and competitive landscapes to identify potential investment opportunities, as well as advising on program strategy for portfolio companies. Prior to RA Capital, Ami held roles at Pear VC and Harvard University’s Office of Technology Development. Ami holds a BS in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from University of California Berkeley and a PhD in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from the Harvard-Massachusetts Institute of Technology Health Sciences and Technology (HST) Program.
