Eduardo Martinez-Montes

Eduardo Martinez-Montes is an Associate with the TechAtlas team of RA Capital Management. Eduardo’s primary responsibilities are to work closely with members of the investment team to deeply understand competitive landscapes, evaluate investment opportunities, and advise portfolio companies on program and pipeline strategy. Prior to RA Capital, Eduardo spent two years in biotechnology equity research at H.C. Wainwright & Co., where he covered emerging growth life sciences companies. During his doctoral training, Eduardo gained experience at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, as well as through engagements with PTX Capital, Flagship Pioneering, and Nucleate, focusing on venture creation, technology translation, and early-stage company development. Eduardo holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where his thesis research focused on cancer epigenetics. Eduardo also holds a BS in Chemistry from University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras.
