Jen Koblan

Head of Strategic Alliances, Blackbird

Jen Koblan is Head of Strategic Alliances at Raven within the Blackbird Team. Jen’s primary responsibilities are to lead the expansion, development, and implementation of best practices in strategic alliances, external partnerships, and service provider engagement across portfolio companies with a focus on enabling efficient, high-quality development and data-driven execution. Jen has more than 20 years of biopharmaceutical R&D experience, with expertise in clinical development strategy, alliance management, and cross-functional program execution. She previously served as Chief of Staff to the CMO at Ironwood. Prior to Ironwood, she held roles of increasing responsibility at EMD Serono (Merck KGaA), Sunovion, Cubist, and Merck & Co. where she supported global clinical programs from early development through regulatory submission across multiple disease areas, led complex external partnerships, and helped build scalable operating models across multiple therapeutic areas. Jen holds a BA and MRHD from Clemson University.
