Head of Talent Acquisition & Strategy

Kara Coluccio is the Head of Talent Acquisition and Strategy at Raven. Kara’s primary responsibility is to lead executive searches and talent strategy for its portfolio of newly formed companies. She also advises on talent acquisition strategy for venture-stage portfolio companies for RA Capital Management. Prior to Raven, Kara worked at Spencer Stuart where she was a member of the global biopharma practice. Kara began her search career in 2004 at Russell Reynolds Associates and has since worked with boutique retained search firms specializing in early-stage biotech company builds across the Board and C‑Suite, including leading her own firm for 6 years. Prior to Spencer Stuart, Kara also served as the Managing Partner for Perspective Group where she was responsible for cultivating new clients, executing searches, and leading the firm’s team, strategy, and operations. Kara began her career in healthcare policy in Washington, DC. and did contract projects with PhRMA, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s Ethics Advisory Board, Tufts Health Plan’s Government Affairs Division, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Kara holds a BA in the History and Sociology of Science and a MS in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania. *Advisor for RA Capital
