Sofia Boss

Associate, Strategic Initiatives

Sofia Boss is an Associate, Strategic Initiatives at RA Capital Management. Prior to joining RA Capital, Sofia founded PinpointBio, a company applying AI to drug-target and indication diligence. Previously, she was a founding scientist at Prologue Medicines, where she helped lead the company’s transition from ProtoCo to NewCo and advanced discovery programs through candidate selection. Her work included mechanism-of-action and assay development, in vivo pharmacology, cross-functional program leadership, and data packages supporting Series A fundraising and partnership diligence. Earlier, Sofia held roles of increasing responsibility at Sigilon Therapeutics, where she worked on protein engineering and preclinical pharmacology for immune-shielded cell therapies. She holds an Executive MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School and a B.Sc. in Sports Sciences from the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Human Kinetics.
