Vice President, Regulatory Strategy, Blackbird

Tamyra Toole is the Vice President, Regulatory Strategy, with Blackbird at Raven. Tamyra has more than 25 years of regulatory affairs experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. She is an experienced regulatory affairs leader with expertise in all phases of development including preclinical, clinical, commercialization and life cycle management across numerous therapeutic areas and modalities. Prior to joining Raven, Tamyra served as a regulatory affairs consultant to biotechnology companies. Previously, she was the Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, at Affini‑T Therapeutics and Rubius Therapeutics, and Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Infinity Pharmaceuticals, where she led the regulatory teams, and oversaw the development and execution of regulatory strategy. Earlier in her career, she held positions of increasing responsibility in regulatory affairs at NitroMed, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, and Organogenesis. Before entering drug development, she worked as a registered nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Tamyra holds a BS in nursing from Villanova University and a JD from the Catholic University of America.
