Principal Scientist

Viktoriya Syrovatkina is a Principal Scientist at Raven. Viktoriya’s primary responsibility is to evaluate early-stage therapeutic programs with a focus on non-viral genetic medicines. Prior to Raven, Viktoriya served as a Principal Scientist in Translation Biology at Generation Bio, where she led research projects from inception to preclinical lead identification for hematological indications and played a key role in advancing non-viral gene therapy drug candidates for liver indications. Viktoriya’s experience also includes early- stage biotech at Yesse Technologies, where she contributed to the expansion of their diagnostic platform. Viktoriya holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed her post-doctoral training in Dr. Xin-Yun Huang’s Lab at Weill Cornell Medical College.
